Yorkshire based production company Old Bean Productions have this week announced a new documentary in aid of cancer research and centred around the Ultra White Collar Boxing event which will take place on November 17 at The Valley Parade in Bradford. The documentary “Ready To Rumble” follows tremendously out of shape film producer Adam Bosworth as he trains for the first fight in his life in front of a packed out venue.
Ultra White Collar Boxing is Cancer Research UK’s biggest fundraising supporter in the UK having raised nearly 13.5 million pounds for the charity since it’s conception. They run events all over the country and have grown tremendously every year. You can watch their bouts on youtube filmed spectacularly in high definition.
Adam has been sponsored by Velo Boxing and is looking for more sponsorships from companies willing to donate money or equipment which will be sold at the film premiere currently pencilled in for Dec 14. Adam said at the announcement “I’m really excited, I’ve put on a decent amount of weight over the years since settling down with the wife. I needed something like this really to give me a kick up the backside” he continued “It’s such a worthy cause as well, everyone knows somebody who has, has had or has died from cancer and if me taking a few punches to the head can help those people in any way then fire away!”.
With the inclusion of a film at Novembers event and with over one hundred people signed up, it promises to be the biggest Bradford event yet. You can purchase tickets at www.ultrawhitecollarboxing.co.uk or you can donate to Adam’s fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/readytorumble .
