One of the region’s largest law firms is starting the New Year by opening its fifteenth, and newest, branch in Bingley.

The move into the market town by Ison Harrison, its first in the Bradford District, further strengthens its foothold within the White Rose County and enhances its standing as ‘The Yorkshire Law Firm’.

Its new office, located at 122-126 Main Street, Bingley, houses a team of five legal experts led by branch manager Claire Loftus, an expert in Property Law.

Claire is being joined by Kathryn Gladwell, a conveyancing executive who has worked for Ison Harrison for six years; Nicole Roberts, who currently works in the law firm’s New Build Department in Leeds; Sarah Laughey, who is Ison Harrison’s Head of Private Family Law; and will shortly be recruiting for additional staff.

In addition to property and family law, the new office will be able to handle all legal enquires – personal and business – via its network of regional offices and the vast and broad experience of its in-house lawyers.

Ison Harrison was founded in 1978 by Stephen Harrison in Leeds, merging a decade later with Garforth-based Ison Driver & Furness, to form Ison Harrison. Forty-three years later it now employs more than 200 staff across 15 offices offering the broadest suite of legal services in the region.

It is also proud to boast that it is the most accredited law firm in Yorkshire, with 15 Law Society accreditations including Immigration & Asylum, Clinical Negligence, Children Law, Family Mediation and SRA Higher Courts Rights – civil and criminal.

Ison Harrison Managing Partner Jonathan Wearing said: “The start of 2021 marks the beginning of another exciting chapter in the Ison Harrison story as we announce the opening of our newest branch in Bingley.

“Opening a new office in the middle of a pandemic is brave but our business model of offering our full range of legal services through a network of offices dotted across Yorkshire has proved to be really resilient throughout.

“People have clearly valued being able to access local legal advice and have taken comfort in being able to approach a large, established modern law firm to look after them.

“Bingley is our fifteenth branch and sees us making our debut in the Bradford District and I’m delighted that our new branch will be taking its place on Bingley’s Main Street, helping to support the local economy.

“Over the last few weeks, we have been busy renovating our new office, ensuring it is coronavirus safe for staff and customers alike.

“Our new branch manager, Claire Loftus, who has recently joined us, is another welcome addition to the wider Ison Harrison team, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the field of conveyancing.

“We are very much looking forward to assisting Claire and her team settle into Bingley and establishing the Ison Harrison name in this town and the wider Bradford area.”

Being located in Bingley town centre, and keen to help support local traders, Ison Harrison is running a special promotion to mark the opening of the new branch.

The first 100 clients to instruct them will receive a £20 voucher to spend within one of ten local businesses.
