Filey’s former cinema building was refurbished in two halves to create a pub and a restaurant – The Buccaneer and Smugglers Cove. The family-friendly, pirate-themed restaurant with its quirky decor serves food Monday to Saturday from 4 pm. On Sundays, they serve a cracking carvery between 12 pm and 5 pm. If holidaying with children, this place is well worth a visit as they will undoubtedly love the life-sized pirate sculptures and nautical wall murals.

Their menu is quite extensive and comprises a great selection of British classics, all served with a smile from their friendly staff. Adults can extend their evening after a meal here by heading next door to their vibrant bar which often hosts live music acts on a Saturday evening. The perfect spot to unwind with drinks and nibbles after a long day exploring the coast.
