Gin-gle Bells, Gin-gle Bells, Gin-gle Bells, York

York’s reputation as a Christmas city is getting a gin-fuelled boost this year.

The York Gin Company has launched a lovely new gift pack in time for the festive season. The beautiful York Gin triple pack – described as ‘history in the tasting’ – is a perfect present for gin-loving loved ones.

The three included 5cl miniatures of gins – all distilled and bottled in the ancient city  – are:

– An award-winning Classic London Dry gin

– A Cocoa gin that nods to the city’s centuries of chocolate making

– York Gin Roman Fruit with its own Latin motto – Veni, Vidi, Bibi (I came, I saw, I drank.)

“The triple pack – which costs £18 – is delightfully-designed and plastic-free. A perfect Christmas gift for anyone who loves gin”, says York Gin Director Emma Godivala.

“York has become a real destination for Christmas shoppers from far and wide, York was recently voted Britain’s favourite city in a YouGov survey and gin is the nation’s favourite tipple. What’s not to love?

We want to make sure our Christmas visitors can buy something wonderful that’s actually made in the city,” says Emma.

She adds: “Our gift packs embody everything that’s wonderful about York – distinguished history, beautiful design and inspired craftsmanship.”

York Gin also offers gift packs containing two of its miniatures. And the larger gift packs have two larger 20cl bottles. They’re all plastic free and make ideal Christmas presents for lovers of quality Yorkshire gins.

The company is also offering an engraving service – customers can have a short personal message engraved on to a 50cl or 70cl bottle – a unique personal gift for the gin connoisseur in your life. And the very first batch of York Gin is available in special 50cl gift packs with a certificate of authenticity signed by the company’s four founding directors.

There will also be a York Gin stand at the city’s famous St Nick’s fair on St Sampson’s Square from to 15 to 23 December.

York Gin bottles and gifts are available throughout the city, including Fenwick, The House of the Trembling Madness, The Evil Eye gin shop, Field & Fawcett and many more.

Gift packs, the engraving service and all our other products are available online at www.yorkgin.com
