Hull’s dining scene has a fresh addition with the opening of One Steakhouse & Lounge, a new steakhouse restaurant and rooftop cocktail bar located by North Bridge. Following a private launch on 1st November, the venue has now opened its doors to the public, offering an elegant space for dining and cocktails with a view.
Housed in a nearly century-old landmark building, One Steakhouse & Lounge has been completely renovated after a decade of disuse. The transformed space now seats 200 guests and combines historic architecture with modern style. Edison Motina, co-owner of the restaurant, said, “I’m incredibly happy with how the space has come together. It’s a magnificent building, and I’m glad people are able to make memories here again.”
The restaurant’s menu highlights premium Yorkshire ingredients paired with Mediterranean flavours. Guests can choose from 32-day dry-aged steaks, grilled to order, as well as fresh seafood and herbaceous vegetarian dishes. The restaurant has already received positive feedback from guests who attended opening week, with bookings off to a strong start.

Located at 1 Witham, One Steakhouse & Lounge is open seven days a week. Parking is available across from the restaurant for £2 all day, with the fee deducted from diners’ bills. The restaurant is now taking reservations for the Christmas season, offering a festive dining experience perfect for groups.
