Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is set to offer passengers a true taste of Yorkshire this summer with the launch of a new signature cocktail, crafted in partnership with Leeds-based cocktail bar Tabula Rasa.
The cocktail, named the ‘Yorkshire Lass’, will be the welcome drink for visitors to the airport’s new 681 Premium Lounge, part of the exciting expansion of the terminal. Tabula Rasa, ranked among the UK’s Top 50 cocktail bars, designed the drink to celebrate local flavours, featuring rhubarb and ginger as key ingredients.
The ‘Yorkshire Lass’ is a gin-based cocktail that combines rhubarb and ginger gin with lemon juice and Passoa, a passion fruit liqueur. It is topped with Aqua Faber to create a balanced mix of tart and sweet flavours, offering a refreshing start to passengers’ journeys.

We’re excited to offer passengers coming through our airport the best experience in our new terminal.”
The 681 Premium Lounge is one of two lounges at the expanded terminal, alongside The Avro. Both lounges will be managed by Elior, an international catering operator appointed last year to enhance the pre-flight experience with locally sourced, freshly prepared menus.

We’ve taken inspiration from the airport’s proud position in Yorkshire and developed the ‘Yorkshire Lass’ cocktail using the finest ingredients, with Rhubarb at the heart, in the form of Rhubarb and Ginger gin. We’re looking forward to passengers getting their first taste of the new cocktail in the 681 lounge.”
The new lounge and its exclusive cocktail offer passengers an enhanced and uniquely Yorkshire way to start their trip, blending local heritage with modern luxury.
