Bradford’s favourite bubble tea and coffee café, Mowchi, has officially reopened its doors with a fresh look and an exciting new menu. Located at 57 Great Horton Road, just minutes from the University of Bradford, the revamped café is now more than double its original size, with space for 30 guests. This relaunch promises to make Mowchi a new go-to spot for students, young professionals, and anyone in search of great food and a relaxed atmosphere.

The new Mowchi has been designed with comfort and community in mind. With improved facilities, including study-friendly spaces and free Wi-Fi, it’s the perfect place for catching up with friends, studying between lectures, or grabbing a coffee before work. The café’s relaxed and inviting environment aims to make everyone feel welcome.

“We’ve always wanted Mowchi to be a place where people can enjoy great food and drinks in a comfortable setting,” said Sumera, Store Manager at Mowchi Bradford. “With more space, more flavour, and a focus on good vibes, we’re thrilled to bring this new version of Mowchi to life.”

The café’s new menu adds a street-food-inspired twist to café classics. Guests can enjoy Bao Buns, Korean Sweet Sandos, rice bowls, and grab-and-go breakfast options — all available in both savoury and sweet varieties. The signature drinks, including Matcha, Bubble Tea, and freshly brewed coffee, are still on offer, along with new speciality drinks such as iced matcha.

Syeda, Mowchi’s founder, explained, “We wanted to create a space where everyone feels at home. Whether you’re studying between classes, grabbing a bite with friends, or having a quick coffee before work, Mowchi Bradford is all about bold flavours and feel-good moments.”
With opening hours from 9am to 10pm on weekdays and 11am to 10pm on weekends, Mowchi Bradford is ready to welcome locals and students alike. Whether it’s for a quick bubble tea, a study session with a Katsu rice bowl, or a sweet Korean sando, Mowchi is back, bigger and better than ever.
