Nina’s heritage plays a significant role in her culinary creations, as she incorporates elements from her Japanese and German backgrounds to enhance each dish. “I’ve really enjoyed creating The Bull’s first-ever tasting menu,” says Nina. “The menu features an array of amazing locally sourced and reared British seasonal produce, with a few little twists added to enhance each dish taken from my Japanese and German heritage. Many of the dishes I’ve created are specifically designed to introduce new flavours and ingredients to our diners, including things that you might not expect to see on the menu in a historic coaching inn in the Yorkshire Dales.”
Priced at £79 per person, with an optional £49 wine flight to perfectly complement each course, this tasting menu is available for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday, 6 pm to 9 pm, and for lunch on Saturdays from 12 pm to 3 pm.
While you’re there, don’t miss the chance to enjoy the Stables Bar & Meadow dining area. This idyllic walled garden is perfect for a summer alfresco meal or a relaxing glass of wine as you soak in the stunning views of the Howgill Fells.
