Hosted by The Leeds Society of Architects and sponsored and supported by RIBA Yorkshire, NorDan, Leeds Corn Exchange and Deltalight, Leeds Festival of Architecture 2019 will run between 6th June and 25th July. The festival will comprise of a series of talks by some of the most high-profile designers and developers within Yorkshire.
The talks are themed around “Futures” and will explore future developments of Leeds, future trends in residential and workplace sectors and design. Events are open to those all with an interest in Design and Architecture.
This year’s festival will include the return of the RIBA President’s Medals exhibition which will promote the best of architectural student design. This will then be followed by the regional hosting of the RIBA Student Awards for the Northern regions on the 27th June at The Tetley in Leeds.

The launch event for Leeds Festival of Architecture on the 6th of June at the historic Leeds Corn Exchange has sold out but there is availability to book other events via Eventbrite. Events include curated screenings of classic and modern architectural cinema, held in collaboration with Hyde Park Cinema.
A competition will run on Instagram for the duration of the festival and will be judged by an award-winning architectural photographer.
The Festival will be using the hashtag – SM Hashtag – #leedsarch19
