Independent Scottish craft brewer BrewDog is inviting fans of craft beer to dive into their now-legendary line-up at their newest UK bar in Hull, East Yorkshire.
Hull, one of the UK’s busiest ports and voted Capital of Culture in 2017 is on the cusp of exciting growth and redevelopment given the recent awarding of a £19.5m “Levelling Up Grant” to improve infrastructure within the city. Home to one of the country’s oldest pubs (dating back to 1683) the city also boasts the enviable title of owning what is said to be “England’s smallest window”! Located dockside at the Princes Quay Centre, BrewDog Hull intends to add to an already bustling nightlife by opening another, considerably larger, window into the UK’s vibrant craft beer scene.

Since their inception, BrewDog have remained at the forefront of the craft beer revolution, and, to celebrate arriving in Hull, a draw was held on the opening day and the first 100 customers through the door had a chance to win one of several incredible prizes including one year of free beer!
BrewDog Hull opened its doors at 12 noon on Friday, 8th April, and is located at 30G, Princes Dock Street, Hull, – perfectly situated a few minutes’ walk from Hull’s bustling Marina and town centre.
The bar has 28 taps of the freshest craft beer from BrewDog and curated guest breweries from the UK and beyond, with a take-away service available for those needing beers to go. The bar will also serve Hawkes cider, spirits and wine, and coffee from ethical Shoreditch supplier Grind.
BrewDog Hull also sees the 5th instalment of the hugely successful kitchen residency from BBQ legends Red’s True Barbecue. Hungry diners will be treated to a selection of smokey delights from Red’s, as well as BrewDog’s veggie and vegan classics.

Opened in 2012 and voted 4th best BBQ in the world, Red’s True Barbecue remains the UK’s favourite BBQ brand with sites across the country and high-profile foodie fans such as “Man vs Food” star Adam Richman being a vocal supporter of the business and its founders, Scott Munro and James Douglas. Red’s co-founder James said:
“Although our cooking has its roots in the Deep South, our restaurants have roots firmly dug into the UK with many of our ingredients being sourced locally. We couldn’t be more excited about opening the 5th of our BrewDog x Red’s collaborations, meat and beer – there really is no better combination!”
Food fans will also be able to enjoy Vegan Mondays; 2-for-1 vegan and vegetarian mains every Monday and BrewDog legendary Wings Wednesday; all-you-can-eat spicy buffalo chicken or buffalo cauliflower wings for just £10.
For those looking to take a deeper dive into craft beer, BrewDog Hull will be running ‘Beer School’ sessions; guided tastings led by Cicerone-trained staff, discovering the flavours and background to five beers over the course of 2 hours. Your guide will take you through the history of the beers, the method in which they are brewed and how to pair them with the food.
