Rock N Roll Circus has confirmed a huge new name for its Friday night line-up, with rock legend Bryan Adams set to headline the Don Valley big top on 29 August 2025.
With over 100 million records sold worldwide and hits like “Summer of ’69”, “Heaven”, and “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”, Adams brings a catalogue of classics to Sheffield. The show will also mark the release day of his brand new album, Roll With The Punches, adding to the celebration.
Festival Director Ali O’Reilly said: “Unfortunately, The Wombats will no longer be playing Friday 29th, but we are delighted to announce an exciting new act so Friday can go ahead as planned. We’re incredibly excited to welcome Bryan Adams to Rock N Roll Circus. His catalogue of hits and legendary live performances are the stuff of rock folklore.”
The Friday line-up also includes:
- Melanie C, bringing chart hits and Spice Girls nostalgia
- Newton Faulkner, known for his acoustic style and festival favourites like “Dream Catch Me”
- Cassyette, the genre-blending alt-rock force making serious waves
- Plus: Nell Mescal, Somebody’s Child, Ashley Singh, Deco, Bethany Grace, Crystal Tides, Femur, The Crookes, Sundress, Charlie Floyd and Alice Ede
The full five-day festival will feature over 40 artists across three stages, including the Discovery Stage and BBC Introducing Stage. The immersive experience goes beyond the music, with circus performances from aerialists and fire breathers, gourmet street food, cocktail bars, workshops and late-night after-parties.
VIP perks include posh loos, private bars, a merch zone and even a dedicated Greggs area with DJs after dark.
