Clarks is opening a new store in Leeds city centre later this month, as the footwear brand celebrates its 200th anniversary.
The store will open to the public on Friday 23rd May 2025 and will be located on the ground floor of Trinity Leeds, on Albion Street. It will stock a full range of footwear for men, women and children, including long-standing favourites and newer seasonal designs.
The launch marks Clarks’ return to central Leeds and forms part of its anniversary celebrations. With a reputation built on comfort and quality, the brand has remained popular with customers across generations.

Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds, said:
“We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of Clarks to Trinity Leeds, marking their exciting return to Leeds city centre. Clarks is a much-loved household name, with a long-standing reputation for quality, style and comfort, and will be a fantastic addition to our retail offering. We look forward to their official opening on 23rd May and are confident they’ll be warmly received by our visitors.”
The new shop will feature a more open and accessible layout, with updated interiors and displays designed to create a straightforward and comfortable experience for customers.
Clarks is also using the opening to highlight its long-running message, “There’s No Better Feeling Than Comfort”, which continues to reflect its focus on everyday wearability and thoughtful design.
Opening hours for the new store will be:
