Cycling Rampage Returns to Leeds for 2025 in Support of Yorkshire Children’s Charity

Rampage is back in Leeds for 2025 and promises to be bigger and better than ever, raising vital funds for Yorkshire Children’s Charity with new headline sponsor Van Rysel.

The event will take place on Thursday 3 July in the Victoria Leeds car park, where cyclists of all ages and abilities will test themselves in an electrifying knockout cycling challenge. The action starts at 6pm, with riders tackling the summit in male, female, and under-18 categories. Each cyclist gets at least three runs up the course, setting off at 15-second intervals. The fastest competitors will face off in head-to-head knockout rounds before the winners are announced.

Live commentary will be provided by well-known cycling broadcaster Matt Payne. The rooftop of the Victoria Gate car park will be open to the public for free, offering spectators a chance to watch the race and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with street food, a pop-up brewery, and a live DJ.

Food and drink options include pizza from Leeds’ Secret Dough, bakery treats from Fat Pigeon, and dishes from the new Keralan restaurant Uyare. Coldbath Brewery will serve craft ale, while The Clubhouse offers coffee and Fennells provides handmade ice cream.

Organised by former pro cyclist Abby Mae Parkinson, who joined Yorkshire Children’s Charity last year, the event also has support from Victoria Leeds, Veloforte, McLaren Leeds, CAF, Paria, Yorkshire Fence Hire, and Link My Ride. It has received backing from professional cyclists and Olympians such as Tom Pidcock, Ed Clancy, Jonny Brownlee, Dani Rowe, and Fred Wright.

Adults interested in taking part can enter the knockout cycling event for £15 by registering online. Spectators can enjoy the event for free from 5pm on the top floor of Victoria Leeds car park.
