Keighley residents and visitors can support the town’s independent businesses this festive season while enjoying some exciting rewards through the Keighley Independents Campaign.
Organised by the Keighley Business Improvement District (BID), the campaign encourages people to shop local and discover the unique charm of the town’s independent stores. Running from 23 November to 31 December, it’s a fantastic opportunity to make your Christmas shopping even more special, all while contributing to the local economy.
How It Works
To get involved, participants must pick up a stamp card from any participating businesses, the Civic Centre, Royal Arcade, or Airedale Centre. From there, it’s all about exploring the variety of independent shops Keighley has to offer.
Shoppers are asked to visit at least three different businesses, purchasing each one to collect a stamp on their card. Once all three stamps are collected, participants can drop their completed cards into one of the Campaign Post boxes located at the Civic Centre, Royal Arcade, or Airedale Centre.
Win Big with Local Shopping
The best part? By shopping locally and supporting independent businesses, shoppers are automatically entered into a prize draw for a chance to win one of several fantastic vouchers to spend in Keighley.
The prizes are as follows:
- 1st prize: £750
- 2nd prize: £250
- 3rd prize: £100
- 20 runner-up prizes: £20 each
These vouchers can be spent in any participating independent business, ensuring that the festive spirit of giving extends into the New Year.
