Travellers in Yorkshire now have another reason to book a city break as easyJet adds a brand-new direct route from Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) to Barcelona.
The twice-weekly service will commence on 29 October, with flights departing from LBA to Barcelona’s Josep Tarradellas El Prat Airport on Wednesdays at 8:40 a.m. and Saturdays at 1:40 p.m.
This latest addition follows easyJet’s recent launches to Paris, Palma and Malaga, and reflects its ongoing investment in expanding connections from the region. The airline says the move offers greater choice for travellers looking for sunshine, culture and good food this winter and beyond.

Passengers can also look forward to an improved experience at Leeds Bradford Airport, with recent upgrades including faster security, new seating areas, enhanced lounges and more food and drink choices.
Barcelona, situated on Spain’s northeast coast, is renowned for its striking architecture, historic neighbourhoods, and beachside charm. Popular spots include the famous Sagrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter and Barceloneta Beach. The city is also home to a strong food scene, live music and a wide range of cultural events.
