The Norwegian Football Association has announced that Euro 2020 is to be postponed until 11th June 2021 due to the coronavirus crisis.
This follows a teleconference on Tuesday with all 55 associate members of the European governing body as well as a representative from FifPro.
Although Uefa are yet to officially annouce the postponement, the Norwegian FA have issues a brief statement stating that the European Campionship will now become Euro 2021 and will take place on June 11th 2021 and conclude on 11th July.
In the post, which was made on Twitter the Norwegian FA said ” “Uefa has decided that the European Championship is postponed to 2021. It will be played from 11 June to 11 July next year. More information coming.”
