Fried chicken fans in Bradford, get ready! Popeyes® UK is set to bring its legendary Louisiana-style fried chicken to The Broadway Shopping Centre, with doors opening at 11 am on Friday, 14th February 2025. This marks Popeyes’ sixth location in Yorkshire and its 69th restaurant nationwide, continuing the brand’s rapid expansion across the UK.
To celebrate in true New Orleans style, Popeyes® is pulling out all the stops with an array of exciting giveaways. The first three lucky customers in the queue will win free Chicken Sandwiches for an entire year, while the first 100 visitors will be treated to a free Chicken Sandwich, exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise, and live entertainment from the New Orleans-inspired band, The Brass Funkeys.
Following the incredible success of recent Yorkshire openings in Gildersome and Wakefield, where fans queued around the block to get their first taste of the famous Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich, Bradford residents are advised to arrive early to avoid missing out on the launch day festivities.
From 14th February, the full Popeyes® menu will be available in Bradford, including fan favourites such as the iconic Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps in Classic, Spicy, and BBQ flavours. Every piece of chicken is halal-certified, marinated for 12 hours in a signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, and hand-breaded to achieve the brand’s signature ‘shatter crunch.’ Diners can also indulge in Popeyes’ classic sides, including Biscuits and Cajun Gravy.
For early risers, Popeyes® will also be serving its much-loved breakfast menu starting at 8 am on Saturday, 15th February. This menu features British breakfast classics with a Louisiana twist, such as the Big Cajun Roll, Cajun Hash Browns, and indulgent Nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits. Fans can also take advantage of an exclusive Breakfast Meal Deal for just £1.99, featuring the Chicken Brekkie Roll, a Cajun Hash Brown, and a drink, available exclusively via the Popeyes® UK app.
