Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) has launched a new campaign to find Yorkshire’s most iconic view, as it prepares to open its expanded terminal this summer. The redevelopment will bring significant improvements for passengers, including 83% more seating and new panoramic views of the runway.
To mark the campaign, LBA took its brand-new terminal seating on tour to some of Yorkshire’s most picturesque spots, including Malham Cove, Brimham Rocks, Harewood, and Emmerdale’s famous Woolpack pub. Locals were invited to take a seat and enjoy the scenery, offering a preview of the airport’s updated travel experience.

The public is now being asked to nominate their favourite Yorkshire views – from famous landmarks to hidden gems – to help crown the region’s most scenic location. All nominations will be entered into a prize draw to win a VIP airport experience, including two tickets to the new lounges, two Fast Track passes and free parking.
John Cunliffe, Commercial and Strategy Director at Leeds Bradford Airport, said:
“We’re proud to connect our passengers with some of Europe’s most beautiful destinations, but it’s just as important to celebrate the incredible scenery we have right here on our doorstep. The new terminal will not only enhance passenger comfort with 83% more seating, but will also offer a brand-new panoramic view of the runway, making it the perfect place to sit back, relax, and take it all in before your next departure.”
