Leeds Christmas Market returns tomorrow, Friday 22nd November, at 10am, with an updated layout designed to create a centralised market village in Leeds’s City Square. Organised by Market Place, the event will feature over 60 traditional chalets offering a range of food, gifts, and handcrafted items.
The market includes a strong presence from local traders in Leeds and Yorkshire, complemented by international stalls from countries including France, Spain, Italy, and Ecuador.
Allan Hartwell, Managing Director of Market Place, said:
“We’re thrilled to be back in Leeds with a new and improved layout for the Christmas Market. This year, we’ve brought together an incredible mix of traditional favourites and new additions, ensuring an atmospheric and enjoyable experience for all.”
Visitors can enjoy a variety of food, including Greek gyros, Dutch pancakes, German bratwurst, and Italian macarons, alongside Yorkshire staples like pudding wraps and smoked brisket. For unique presents, there are stalls offering everything from knitwear and jewellery to art prints.
The market’s Tens Bar and The Ranch Bar will provide spaces to unwind, serving mulled wine, spiced cider, and festive cocktails.
In addition to City Square, Millennium Square will host the Ice Cube ice rink, fairground rides, and more Christmas stalls. Bond Court will also feature the Little Bird Artisan Market every weekend, highlighting independent makers and producers.
Councillor Jonathan Pryor said:
“The Christmas Market is a wonderful opportunity for people to come together and enjoy the season. It’s great to see it returning to Leeds, offering something for everyone in the city.”
