Leeds Pride 2025 is shaping up to be the biggest celebration in the event’s 19-year history, with organisers unveiling a packed line-up of music, drag, food and entertainment ahead of the free one-day festival on Sunday 20 July.
Chart-topping acts Liberty X and Booty Luv are set to headline the main stage on Lower Briggate, joined by dance icons Kelly Llorena and Angie Brown. Tribute favourites Smalltown Boy, The Voice of Whitney and Sweet Like Sabrina will also take to the stage, adding even more energy to a day full of Pride and performance.
Hosting the main stage are returning favourites Soraya Vivian and Matt Jameson, while drag supergroup Queenz bring the party with their ‘Drag Me to the Disco’ show.
New Cabaret Stage Adds Sparkle
New for 2025 is a cabaret stage in the heart of the Lower Briggate site. Danny Beard, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, will lead a line-up of standout local drag talent, bringing even more colour and flair to the city’s flagship LGBTQ+ celebration.
The community stage in Millennium Square will showcase performances from Davey Stuart and LGBTQ+ choir Gay Abandon, with festivities kicking off at 10:30 am before Lower Briggate opens at 12 pm.

Parade, Food and Family Fun
The Leeds Pride Parade, sponsored by Leeds Building Society, sets off from The Headrow just after midday, winding its way through the city centre. On the ground, there’s more to enjoy than ever, including an expanded family area, a huge range of food vendors, and the most market stalls the event has ever hosted.
Eat Pride, Drink Pride and Pride Ball Launch
The Eat Pride, Drink Pride scheme returns, offering exclusive discounts and offers for wristband holders at venues across Leeds. Participating businesses include The Alchemist, Brasserie Blanc, Fibre, Headrow House, Turtle Bay and many more.
In the lead-up to the main event, the first-ever BIBIS Leeds Pride Ball offers a new way to get involved and raise funds for Pride. For £45, guests get a welcome drink, a two-course meal and live entertainment. The event is open to everyone.

A Community Effort
A spokesperson for Leeds Pride said:
“We’re incredibly excited to share this year’s line-up. Leeds Pride is more than a festival — it’s a celebration of love, resilience and joy that brings thousands together from across the city and beyond.”
Leeds Pride is one of the largest free events of its kind in the UK. In 2024, it drew over 80,000 visitors, featured 160 floats, and was supported by 238 businesses. The 2025 event is expected to break even more records.
Pride remains entirely self-funded, with Jet2.com confirmed as the headline sponsor for the second year in a row. Organisers are continuing to welcome sponsorships and support from businesses and volunteers.
