The eagerly awaited Rock N Roll Circus is set to return to Sheffield’s Don Valley from Thursday, 29th to Saturday, 31st August, bringing with it an even bigger and better spectacle in its second edition. This year’s festival promises an electrifying atmosphere, with three music stages, a dazzling array of performances, fantastic food and drink, and the unique magic of a travelling circus.
Expanded Line-Up and New Stages
For the first time, the festival will feature three stages: the iconic Big Top Tent, the BBC Introducing Stage, and a brand-new Second Stage. Rock N Roll Circus will showcase a vibrant mix of both national and international artists, with a strong focus on local, homegrown talent.
Kicking off on Thursday, 29th August, Sheffield’s very own Richard Hawley will headline with his largest-ever performance, supported by an exclusive line-up of acts handpicked by him. On Friday, 30th August, international pop star Becky Hill takes centre stage, followed by Sheffield favourites Milburn headlining on Saturday, 31st August, marking their first major show since 2017. Other artists set to perform include Peter Doherty, The Divine Comedy, Joel Corry, The K’s, Jake Bugg, The Coral, Cian Ducrot, and many more.
Spectacular Extras and Circus Acts
In addition to a stellar musical line-up, festival-goers can participate in daily circus workshops and explore the Honda bike training and testing area. The food and drink village offers a mouth-watering selection from popular vendors such as Alpina Pizza, Burrito Boys, and Spuds and Bros, alongside Sheffield’s very own Henderson’s Relish, who will be showcasing exclusive merchandise.
VIP ticket holders can enjoy added luxury with posh loos, fast-track entry, private bars, and exclusive access to the Juggler’s Den, where Greggs will be serving free treats from their festival bus.
As always, Rock N Roll Circus will feature mesmerising circus performances courtesy of the talented Circus Antics troupe. Attendees can expect to be captivated by aerialist Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, fire performer Gem Vaudeville, master juggler Farqward Presto, hula hoop artist Sophiabellatricks, and a thrilling high wire act from Ellis Grover, who will soar above the crowds in the Big Top.

The box office will be open from the same time as the gates and will close at 9:00 PM each evening.
Family-Friendly Fun
Rock N Roll Circus is a family event open to all ages. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 5 can attend free of charge with a full-priced adult ticket (maximum two per adult).

Travel and Parking Details
For those driving, exit the M1 at Junction 34 (Meadowhall) and follow signs for Sheffield A6178. Trams are also available from Sheffield City Centre, Meadowhall, Sheffield Station, and Rotherham, with affordable fares.
