Sheffield’s New Food Festival Announces Live Music Lineup for August Debut

Sheffield’s newest food festival, the Graves Park Food Festival, is set to deliver a weekend of local music, delicious food, and family-friendly entertainment. Scheduled for August 30th and 31st, 2025, the event will feature rising stars from across Yorkshire, as well as tribute acts to some of the UK’s most iconic musicians.

Festival director Michael Johnston promises a lively experience for all visitors. “We’re putting everything into creating an exciting and memorable weekend for the city. There’s a fantastic variety of performers joining us, including soloists, bands, and even choirs. Aside from live music, we’ll be announcing plenty more over the coming months,” he said.

Music Highlights

The live music stage will showcase an array of talent throughout the weekend. On Saturday, Liam Gray, a top Robbie Williams tribute artist, will perform a mix of Williams’ solo hits and songs from his Take That days. Also on Saturday afternoon, enjoy the Leeds Project Big Band, alternative rock group Waiting Forever, and blues trio Leeds City Stompers.

Sunday’s headliner is ‘The Fab4’, a celebrated Beatles tribute band known for faithfully recreating the Beatles’ sound. This tribute act has been performing for over 35 years and has appeared on BBC and at venues in Liverpool. Sunday afternoon will also feature performances from pop and soul covers band WildHoney, guitar ensemble Knucklefuzz, Rock Choir, and Leeds City Stompers.

Both mornings of the festival will start with Will Forrester playing smooth saxophone, and both evenings will end with high-energy sets from Live Ibiza Sax.

Festival Attractions

The Graves Park Food Festival is more than just music. The Street Food Arena will offer a selection of international cuisines, with flavours from Japan, Hungary, the USA, Greece, Italy, and more. Independent bars and a full ale house will also be on hand to complement the food offerings.

Local traders will line the Artisan Markets, showcasing handmade crafts, baked goods, art, and more. At the Live Cookery Theatre, top chefs will offer live cooking demonstrations, while families can enjoy magic shows, circus workshops, and other entertainment at the Live Entertainers Stage.

There will also be roaming comedy acts, a fun fair, an inflatable land, a mobile educational farm, and various interactive activities like quizzes, scavenger hunts, and Foodie Olympics.

Supporting Sheffield Mind

In partnership with Sheffield Mind, the festival aims to build on the £127,000 already raised for the mental health charity. The event organisers hope to make a significant contribution to this cause over the weekend.
