Meadowhall is bringing the beach back to Sheffield this summer, and it’s set to be bigger, bolder and better than ever.
Marking the centre’s 35th anniversary, the hugely popular Summer Beach Club is returning from Friday 18th July, promising a packed line-up of rides, live performances and family fun. Once again, the Orange Car Park will be transformed into a seaside escape, complete with an expanded sandy beach, food stalls, chill-out zones and plenty of entertainment for all ages.
New for 2025 is the Live Lounge stage, which will host a full schedule of live DJ sets and tribute acts throughout the summer. More acts will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Back by popular demand are classic fairground favourites including the Magic Mouse rollercoaster, dodgems, and waltzers. And for thrill-seekers looking to take their summer to new heights, the 45-metre Star Flyer is a new addition offering panoramic views across the city.
Little ones can enjoy smaller rides, bungee trampolines and water walkers, while families can beat the heat at the returning AquaSplash water park, which features three pools for kids of all ages.
For those looking to relax, the Beach Retreat offers a more laid-back atmosphere with a 1,000 sqm beach setting, complete with daybeds, parasols, and an adult-only bar serving summer cocktails, beers, and wine. The area will be soundtracked with upbeat tunes to keep the good vibes going.

The Summer Beach Club runs from Friday 18th July to Sunday 31st August, opening daily from 5pm. Entry starts from just £2, with free admission after 6pm each day.
