North Yorkshire Water Park announces the Unicorn Splash Park – a magical collection of three giant inflatables, including the world’s tallest unicorn inflatable
There’s something big coming to North Yorkshire Water Park this May, and it’s shaped like a unicorn. On Saturday 24th May, the park will launch its newest attraction, the Unicorn Splash Park, featuring three giant inflatables. One of them is officially the world’s tallest inflatable unicorn.
Each unicorn offers a different experience. The smallest has a built-in trampoline. The medium-sized one includes a slide. The largest features a five-metre drop into the lake, ideal for bold flips and jumps. The inflatables are located in a private area of the lake and can be booked exclusively for parties, school groups or corporate days out.
To mark the opening, the park is hosting a Grand Unicorn Launch Party. Visitors can expect unicorn-themed carnival games, face painting, a special menu and a naming ceremony. Local schoolchildren helped choose the unicorns’ names, and the winners will attend the launch as VIP guests.
Gareth Davies, General Manager at North Yorkshire Water Park, said: “We’re always looking for ways to bring something fresh and exciting to the park and we think this does it perfectly. The giant unicorn inflatables are set to be a huge hit with visitors of all ages.”
The Unicorn Splash Park joins the park’s popular Aqua Park lineup. Fan favourites Warrior, Wipeout and Splash Kingdom are back for the season. These obstacle courses include climbing walls, slides, balance beams and splash-filled challenges. Warrior and Wipeout are designed for older thrill-seekers, while Splash Kingdom is well suited for younger adventurers.
There’s also plenty to do on dry land. Activities include Axe Throwing, Archery, Bushcraft, a Climbing Wall, an upgraded Puzzle Room and a new Laser Tag experience for families and teams.
The on-site Café @ NYWP serves meals, snacks and hot drinks, all with views across the lake.
