Trinity Leeds is ringing in the festive season with a spectacular display, headlined by what is believed to be the tallest Christmas tree in the city. This stunning 12-metre centrepiece has transformed the shopping centre’s main atrium into a dazzling winter wonderland.
The tree, adorned with nearly 100 custom light tubes and crowned with shining star toppers, is part of a fresh, contemporary holiday installation at Trinity Leeds. This year’s decorations include 500 metres of sparkling branch lights, 300 metres of light curtains, and over 500 silver and gold stars. Shoppers will enjoy illuminated white trees scattered throughout the shopping centre and a glowing shooting star welcoming visitors to the Briggate entrance.
“The countdown to Christmas is now on, and we’re so excited to unveil this stylish new look for guests to enjoy over the festive season at Trinity Leeds,” said Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds. “We believe it’s Leeds’ biggest Christmas tree, and twinkling at 12 metres high, it looks so impressive underneath the glass dome, making the picture-perfect backdrop for guests starting their Christmas shopping.”
He added that the team has been hard at work on the display, “working throughout the night for the past week to make sure everything looks just right.”
The festive decorations are on display from now until January, offering the perfect setting for Christmas outings and shopping trips. For an extra touch, Trinity Leeds will be offering gift-wrapping services at Guest Services from 10th to 24th December, helping shoppers add that final festive flourish to their gifts.
