Visit Meadowhall this Easter for Dinosaurs, Dining Offers and Family Fun

Meadowhall is set to make this Easter bank holiday one to remember, with confirmed opening hours and a jam-packed line-up of activities, entertainment and family-friendly offers running throughout the school holidays.

Whether you’re planning a full day out or just popping in for a bite to eat, there’s something for everyone over the long weekend and beyond. From exploring life-sized dinosaurs to jumping around at Jump Inc, enjoying a film at Vue or climbing to new heights at Rock Up, families can enjoy everything under one roof.

Opening hours for the Easter weekend have now been confirmed. On Good Friday (18th April), the centre will be open from 10am to 9pm. Easter Saturday (19th April) sees the centre open from 9am to 8pm, while on Easter Sunday (20th April), stores will be closed but the Oasis Dining Quarter will remain open. Easter Monday (21st April) will run from 10am to 8pm. As always, individual store and restaurant times may vary, so it’s best to check directly with your chosen venue before visiting.

While many shops are shut on Easter Sunday, there’s still plenty to enjoy. Over 15 popular restaurants in the Oasis Dining Quarter, including Popeyes, The Real Greek and Zizzi, will be open between 7am and 10pm. Vue cinema will be showing films from 9am until midnight, Funstation will be open from 7am to 10pm, and Clubhouse will welcome visitors from 11am to 8pm, making it easy to keep the Easter fun going all weekend.

One of the main attractions this year is Meadowhall’s brand new Dino Discovery event. Visitors will come face to face with ten life-sized dinosaurs, including the towering Brachiosaurus, the spikey Stegosaurus and, of course, the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex. It’s a chance to walk among prehistoric giants and enjoy a unique adventure for the whole family.

There are also plenty of ways to refuel after all the excitement. Several restaurants at Meadowhall are offering ‘kids eat free’ deals this Easter. At Frankie & Benny’s, kids can enjoy a full meal including a main, side, drink and dessert for free with any adult main until 27th April. Pizza Express is offering a free Piccolo meal for children with the purchase of an adult main until 24th April. At Yo Sushi!, little ones can tuck into a bento box for free with a paying adult spending £10 or more. Zizzi is giving away free Bambini meals with adult mains until 27th April (excluding Saturdays), and The Real Greek is offering a free kids’ meal with every adult meal costing £15 or more on Sundays. As always, guests are advised to check individual restaurant terms and conditions before dining.

Younger visitors can also burn off some energy at the Riverside Playground, which features a climbing zone, sandpit, swings and slides, making it an ideal spot for a break between shopping and activities.

Whether you’re on the hunt for a new outfit, a dinosaur adventure, or just somewhere to relax and enjoy a great meal with the kids, Meadowhall has you covered this Easter.
