The hit West End musical & Juliet is heading to Sheffield this May as part of its UK tour, bringing a bold new take on Shakespeare’s most famous heroine.
What if Juliet didn’t meet her end with Romeo? That’s the question behind this high-energy show, written by the Emmy-winning creator of Schitt’s Creek. Instead of a tragic ending, Juliet gets a second chance to choose her own path and tell her own story.

Starring Jay McGuiness (The Wanted, Strictly Come Dancing) as William Shakespeare and TV’s Dr Ranj Singh in his musical theatre debut as Lance, the cast also includes Gerardine Sacdalan as Juliet, Lara Denning as Anne Hathaway, and Sandra Marvin as Angelique.
The show arrives at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre from Tuesday, 20 May, to Saturday, 31 May. It follows a successful West End run, during which it won three Olivier Awards and six WhatsOnStage Awards.

Packed with pop hits from Max Martin, the musical features songs like Roar, …Baby One More Time, Since U Been Gone, Can’t Stop the Feeling, and more.
Tickets are available now through the Lyceum’s Box Office, by phone on 0114 249 6000 or online at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk.
If you’re after a feel-good night out with great music and a fresh twist on a classic tale, & Juliet might be just the ticket.
