Yorkshire’s first award-winning rum company, Libations, has made Victoria Leeds their temporary home for the second year running at Christmas, by virtue of their Christmas pop-up store which launches tomorrow.
When asked why Victoria Gate, Co-Founder Rory replied:
“Having a presence in the local area is something that’s hugely important to us. Last year saw us debut our first ‘bricks and mortar ’pop-up in Leeds. In a digital world we found it fantastic to go back to basics and connect with
customers old and new face-to-face, it’s hugely rewarding”
The business has two collaborations in store in the form of Leeds locals SW Botanicals and The Marshmallowist. Additionallly, the company has also teamed up with Farsley based Canvas Bar and co-developed Drink at Home Cocktail Sets which will retail at £20 and £30.
Co-Founder Chloe commented:
“Operating a physical location presents a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with other local businesses, which is something that is hugely important to us as a company”
Since launching, the challenger brand has made brisk progress gaining both regional and national listings with a range of retailers and, more recently, announced their first regional grocery listing with Morrisons. Both products launched into stores in and around the Leeds area.
When asked what’s to come with Libations, Co-Founder Chloe stated:
“We’re headed into a really exciting period for the business. At present we’re in the process of our distillery build out which will allow customers to come along and take a detailed look behind the scenes. The distillery will allow us to innovate at a much quicker rate with limited release runs and ultimately help customers get closer and more familiar with what we’re about”
