They focus on creating simple dishes which are nothing fancy, but which pack lots of flavour and appeal to as many people as possible, no matter how well established or sophisticated your palette is! Bee Latham said “I’m just thinking about myself really, if I want to go out and eat something, this is the restaurant where I could come every day. And that’s the reason why we have lots of Thai students, lots of Thai people come in, because it’s just like home.”
The recipes are all unique and creatively thought up in their restaurants. In fact, you’ll struggle to find their dishes in any other Thai restaurant. They aim to create a really authentic experience, and their menu includes everything from Noodles to Curry.
Many of their ingredients are hard to find and they even import from Thailand. As well as this, they aim to use locally-sourced meat and produce to ensure that their creations are the highest quality and are guaranteed to excite the taste buds!
What sets My Thai apart is the focus they put on authenticity and freshness. They keep everything simple, and try and make it as healthy as possible by avoiding the use of MSG and other additives.
They cook on a flat griddle with half a teaspoon of olive oil and water to avoid it being cooked in fat. Apart from the deep fried dishes on the menu, their food is one of the healthy options!
