In July 2014, Bradford’s craft beer bar The Sparrow, joined forces with Indian Restaurant Prashad, to open a brand new venue combining the best of both businesses
Located just a short stroll away from Leeds Train Station, Bundobust is a unique eatery serving authentic Indian street food alongside an excellent range of craft beers from both local and international breweries.
Inspired by the street food of Gujurat in India, their menu is bursting with traditional flavours but each of their dishes have been given a tasty, modern twist. Bundobust’s concept is genius. By serving a creative menu of spicy, yet simple vegetarian dishes that can be washed down with beers from both home and away, they are offering a great alternative to the usual Saturday night curry.
One customer who visited in September 2018 said:
“Came here as we had a vegetarian friend in our party. Everytime we come we have the sharing combo with a mixture of everything. The food is sooo tasty and so full of flavour. Everyone has always been so impressed by the tasty dishes – even those that would always have the meat options where available. Great selection of different craft beers from local breweries as well. Chilled, relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. Seating is mainly picnic style benches sat next to different customers. Can order what you like – pay at the bar and go back and order more if you want.”
The food at Bundobust is very reasonably priced with dishes costing between £1.50 and £6.50 each. If you’re a little indecisive when it comes to choosing food, you can order every dish on the menu for just £82.50. Perfect for a night out with friends at a great restaurant in Leeds! See their main ‘Munch’ menu below.
