With the rise in Staycations this year, it’s fair to say that Whitby has been one of the busiest destinations in Yorkshire.
Its seaside appeal brings plenty of tourists, and more people than ever are considering it as the place they make their home.
Recently, the property market has been really active in the area, and that’s meant that house prices are at an all-time high. Whether or not you think that’s a good thing is up to you. However, it can’t be a bad thing that there’s money moving around the economy again.
When I visit Whitby, I’m always intrigued by the properties. They’re some of the most unique in the whole of Yorkshire and come in all shapes and sizes. With many colourful examples, it’s what makes Whitby so unique.
With that in mind, we’ve searched local estate agents websites to find the cream of the crop, and in this new mini-series, we’ll be sharing some of the most beautiful, expensive and unique homes that come on the market in Whitby.

It’s on the market for just shy of a million (£950,000) and is being marketed by one of the areas most well respected estate agents, Bridgfords.
Read on for the property photo’s and professional description.
