“We were thrilled after the success of the 2019 festival, and couldn’t wait to return to Ripley Castle in the summer of 2020. Unfortunately, of course our plans were disrupted, but we’ve been working throughout the pandemic to ensure that 2021 will be bigger than ever. We’re confident that it’ll be worth the wait!” – Michael Johnston, Festival Director.

The festival focuses on a vast variety of freshly made international cuisine, independent bars and breweries, an expansive artisan market featuring local produce, craft and wellbeing businesses, a main stage with live music, entertainers and performers, an extensive children’s activities programme and a selection of fairground rides.

Returning to the festival will be also be a Cookery Theatre, sponsored and hosted by Yorkshire Food Guide, which will invite attendees to witness internationally renowned chefs creating their favourite dishes.

“2020 was such a difficult year for ourselves and our traders, and we knew it was so important to come back to Ripley Castle in 2021 bigger than before, and really celebrate what the local businesses have to offer. We’re really looking forward to being back on the field in the sunshine, and we hope everyone will join us for what’s shaping up to be a jam-packed weekend.” – Hannah Dewhirst, Festival Coordinator

Harrogate Food and Drink Festival will be supporting MIND charity in Harrogate, who support those suffering with mental health difficulties, having already raised thousands for the charity at Ripley Castle in 2019.

Thousands are expected to descend on Ripley Castle, on August 28th – 30th, 2021.
