The Ivy Asia

The Ivy Asia opened its doors in Leeds just a few months ago and I was lucky enough to be invited to sample all its delights! My first experience at The Ivy Asia was a memorable one so I would personally recommend the venue to anyone seeking a date night with a difference. The photos and videos of the interiors you will find all over your social feeds do not do this spectacular venue justice. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and the food is served in an equally theatrical fashion.
For Valentine’s Day 2023, The Ivy Asia has launched a special set menu priced at £75 per person (available 10th – 14th February). On arrival, guests will receive a glass of Veuve Clicquot Rose Champagne and then get to tuck into three courses of Asian-inspired dishes that are as impressive to look at as they are to eat. Begin with three small plates to share between you and then choose your preferred main to be enjoyed alongside sides of chilli noodles and steamed broccoli. For dessert, The Ivy Asia has created a special Valentine’s Day dessert. Pink Dragon is designed to be shared and comprises soft-serve pink ice cream, passionfruit doughnuts and raspberry pearls.
Sky Lounge

Offering unrivalled rooftop views across the city, Sky Lounge Leeds offers one of the most romantic settings for a meal for two in Leeds. This Valentine’s Day, Sky Lounge Leeds has launched some special sharing platters so you and your loved one can tuck into tasty treats whilst enjoying the most incredible views of the city.
Priced at £24.95 per person, there are three platters to choose from and your choice of Valentine’s cocktail is included. The meat platter includes satay chicken skewers, lamb kofta bites with mint yoghurt and Char Sui pork belly bites. The fish version features Thai fish cakes, salt & pepper squid and tempura prawns whilst the veggie offering is loaded with brie & potato bonbons, beetroot falafel and mushroom arancini.
All the platters are served with olives, sun-dried tomatoes and toasted focaccia. Delicious! Slots are filling up fast so if you fancy spending your Valentine’s Day date at Sky Lounge, book as soon as possible.
Bulgogi Grill

The fantastic Bulgogi Grill is located opposite First Direct Arena and is a definite must-visit! For a different kind of Valentine’s Day dining experience, book a table here and enjoy the fun and flavours associated with Korean tabletop barbequing.
This Valentine’s Day, Bulgogi Grill is offering a special set menu priced at £39.95 per person. Start with Korean sushi and vegetable dumplings served with soy sauce and wasabi then cook beef, pork, duck, prawn and seabass on your tabletop grill and enjoy unlimited Korean sides. You will also get a dessert of ice cream and a glass of prosecco! This hands-on dining experience is perfect for Valentine’s Day dining in Leeds and will no doubt give you a date to remember for years to come.
Sakku

Whether you’re an avid fan of Japanese cuisine or you have never tried it before, Sakku is a brilliant dining spot with Instagrammable interiors and a fantastic all-you-can-eat offering. The full Sakku evening dining experience costs £34.95 during the week and £38.95 at weekends. The astonishingly extensive menu showcases an incredible 150 dishes and you can order as many as you like during your visit. Feast upon sushi, bao buns, gyoza, grilled skewers and deep-fried delights at Sakku this Valentine’s Day and you’ll receive a complimentary glass of prosecco and a delicious sharing dessert comprising four flavoursome miniature treats.
Pizza Punks
Times are most certainly hard and many of us can’t afford to splurge on fancy meals and costly cocktails. If you want to take your other half out for a bite to eat but don’t want to splash the cash, then a pizza date for two might be the answer! Our favourite pizza place in Leeds is offering a cracking meal deal on the 13th and 14th of February. For just £22, you can get two pizzas and two cocktails at Pizza Punks, Leeds.
We love the pizzas at Pizza Punks and you can add as many toppings as you like for no additional cost. The cocktails are pretty good too, especially the Love Hearts cocktail which is garnished with a treat-size packet of retro sweets. Leeds’ Valentine’s Fair is back this year and we can’t think of a better way to spend Valentine’s Day than with an evening at the fair followed by a pizza!
Fazenda

Treat your other half to an authentic Gaucho dining experience at Fazenda this Valentine’s Day! Fazenda’s all-you-can-eat meat experience is available for lunch (£33.90 pp) and dinner £55.90 pp) but we recommend booking in the evening as this higher-priced option includes a larger selection of meats. Take a seat at your table and immerse yourself in the authentic ambience of this brilliant rodizio restaurant where your table-side service of grilled meats can be controlled with the use of double-sided cards.
Place your card green-side up to invite Fazenda’s meat chefs to deliver fine cuts of meat to your table and flip it to red to indicate you need a break. There are always loads of tasty sides to pair with the endless selection of succulent meats and Valentine’s diners (13th – 15th February) will begin their experience with a glass of sparkling wine and end it with a fabulous selection of Brazillian sweet treats.
