St Helens Camping and Caravan Park in Wykeham, Scarborough, has been named the top campsite in England for 2025/26, earning the AA’s highest Five-Star Platinum Award. The accolade recognises the park’s exceptional facilities, guest experience, and commitment to quality, and only one site in England receives the honour each year.
The award comes after a multi-million-pound investment in state-of-the-art facilities, including modern amenity blocks, serviced pitches, luxurious glamping pods, and eco-friendly enhancements such as a 150kw solar array. Established in 1976 and part of Dawnay Estates, the park offers over 150 touring pitches, two separate camping fields, and hireable camping or glamping pods.
