Philips Chef Shares Teen Proof Airfryer Recipes To Survive The Half Term Hunger

Half term has a habit of turning organised households upside down, particularly when teenagers are involved. Between endless snacks and the constant question of “what’s in the fridge,” many parents find themselves unable to keep up with the insatiable appetites of their growing children.

To help families cope, Philips in-house airfryer chef Martin Senders has compiled a list of tasty, teen-proof recipes designed to feed an army multiple times a day. He suggests that during busy weeks, the key is using appliances that can handle large batches, such as the new Philips 4000 Series Stacked Dual Basket Airfryer. Despite its narrow footprint, the device offers an 8.3L capacity, which is enough to cook eight burgers and a kilo of chips at once.

Martin Senders said: “Half-term is busy enough without complicated cooking, with the demands of growing teenagers making it seem like you have to feed an army of people multiple times a day. It’s not unusual for teenagers to ask for double portions, so you need an airfryer that can keep up with their hungry demands. While some stacked airfryers compromise on capacity to save on appliance footprint, the new Philips 4000 Series Stacked Dual Basket Airfryer is big enough for even the hungriest of teen appetites. Even though it’s narrower, the dual-drawer gives you serious capacity, letting you cook large batches or two different meals at the same time, ideal for when it feels like you’re having to feed the four thousand.”

For families looking to upgrade their kitchen, the Philips 4000 Series Stacked Dual Basket Airfryer is currently available in Currys for £169.99, saving £100 while stock lasts.
