One of Leeds’ most popular central dining and rooftop destinations is inviting guests to help celebrate its first anniversary with a packed four-day weekend of live music, exclusive birthday treats, and major food and drink discounts.
From Thursday, 30th July through to Sunday, 2nd August, CrowdedHouse, located across Levels 5 and 6 at the top of Boar Lane, will be throwing a venue-wide celebration. Live entertainment is set to take over the space from day through to night, shifting from house band performances and vinyl DJ sets spinning funk, soul, and disco, to energetic Ibiza house classics and a laid-back reggae rooftop session to round off the weekend.
As a direct thank you to the local community that supported the venue throughout its debut year, every single dining guest visiting across the birthday weekend will receive a complimentary slice of birthday cake. Furthermore, every table seated will be entered into a rolling giveaway for a chance to win a free round of cocktails on the house.
The promotions peak on Sunday, when the venue will be pouring £1 Bloody Marys alongside serving up £10 steak and chimichurri sandwiches, offering a great excuse for locals to wrap up the weekend above the city noise.
Since first opening its doors last year, CrowdedHouse has fast established itself as a premier destination for elevated food, drinks, and sky-high events, welcoming more than 30,000 guests through its doors. The hotspot also earned major industry recognition earlier this year, taking home the coveted title for Best Social Media at the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards 2026.
The venue has become well-known for its vibrant, rotating events calendar, hosting everything from summer rooftop brunches and morning fitness sessions to massive Leeds Pride celebrations. It has also consistently championed the local indie scene, collaborating with area favourites such as Homeboy Pizza Co., Elethea Studios, and RYDE. Its core menus have proven equally popular with city diners, with the kitchen shelling out more than 7,700 fresh oysters, flipping 2,200 signature CrowdedHouse Burgers, and pouring over 8,300 margaritas in just twelve months.
