Middleton on the Wolds producer Soanes Poultry is celebrating its first anniversary supplying Slimming World Kitchen’s subscription recipe boxes.
After initially securing a contract 12 months ago to supply branded chicken fillets, the East Yorkshire business has expanded its output to supply 100% of the chicken used across Slimming World Kitchen’s recipe box range. The contract now encompasses lean thigh meat along with sliced and diced fillet cuts.
Founded in 1947 by Tom Soanes, the family-rooted poultry farm supplies independent butchers, retailers, wholesalers, and catering butchers across the country. Alongside its Slimming World Kitchen contract, Soanes Poultry also serves as the sole chicken supplier to Sides Hot Chicken Restaurants, which recently expanded its footprint from London and Manchester into Glasgow.
“A year ago, we were invited to supply branded chicken fillets for Slimming World Kitchen’s healthy recipe boxes. Since then, they have added lean thigh meat and sliced and diced fillet to their recipe boxes as demand for low-calorie protein grows,” said Ben Lee, Managing Director at Soanes Poultry. “We’re now proud to supply 100% of the chicken used in Slimming World Kitchen’s delicious, nutritious recipe boxes.”
