RSA Insurance, one of the UK’s largest insurers, has completed the relocation of its Halifax office from Dean Clough to the newly transformed Northgate House, where the company will be the sole occupant of the four-storey, 47,000 square-foot office space.
The move to Northgate House will help support the business’s adoption of a hybrid working model. The official opening of the new RSA office was marked by an event on-site attended by Holly Lynch MP, welcoming over 500 RSA employees to their newly created workspace in Halifax Town Centre.
RSA has had a presence and served the local area for over 50 years. The relocation to Norgate House forms part of its commitment to invest and recruit locally, giving back to the immediate community where it is situated.
The completed Northgate development will drive footfall of approximately 1,500 people per day into Halifax town centre, encouraging the recovery of the local economy.
