Coffee lovers in Leeds are in for a treat this Easter as speciality roaster and café brand 200 Degrees launches a golden egg giveaway packed with prizes worth over £1,500.
To celebrate the arrival of its new Spring menu, 200 Degrees is sending an Easter bunny – fuelled by their famously strong coffee – into the city on Thursday 17th April. Hidden somewhere in Leeds from 12PM, the golden egg will be tucked away in a mystery location, with the first person to crack the clue and find it taking home the ultimate coffee bundle.
The prize includes a Sage Bambino coffee machine, 1kg of the brand’s best-selling Brazilian Love Affair beans, a full kit to recreate the customer favourite Salted Caramel Oat Iced Twist at home, plus free coffee for a whole year at any 200 Degrees store. It’s a bundle designed to make any caffeine fan’s heart skip a beat.
And for those who miss out on the top prize? There’s no need to feel bitter – everyone who reaches the secret giveaway location will be handed a voucher for a free drink from the new Spring menu, just for joining the hunt.
A spokesperson from 200 Degrees said, “We wanted to do something fun to mark the launch of our new menu, and what better way than with an Easter egg hunt? There’s a huge prize up for grabs for one lucky person, but we’ve made sure everyone who takes part gets a little something to enjoy. We can’t wait to see Leeds get involved!”
Clues to the golden egg’s location will be shared on 200 Degrees’ social media channels from 17th April, with eagle-eyed followers encouraged to keep watch for hints and riddles. Once you spot the egg, all you need is the secret code word – also shared on social – to claim your prize.
The fun doesn’t end there. From 18th to 21st April, 200 Degrees will be hiding secret codes across its website, unlocking exclusive discounts and offers throughout the Easter weekend.
And if that’s not enough reason to pop into the Bond Street shop, their new Spring menu launches on Tuesday 15th April with some delicious limited edition additions. Back by popular demand is the Salted Caramel Oat Iced Twist, a chilled blend that’s quickly become a customer favourite. New to the line-up are the fruity and refreshing Amaretti Spritz and Watermelon Berry Refresher – perfect for when the sun makes an appearance.
Food-wise, there’s plenty to tempt you too, including a Chicken Tikka Wrap for a light lunch and a dreamy raspberry and bergamot cake that’s as pretty as it is tasty.
