Gyros Bar & Grill is a friendly and welcoming drinking and dining venue serving up authentic Greek street food alongside handcrafted cocktails and a wide selection of spirits. It’s owned by the same people who own the equally fabulous Greek dining spot in Leeds, Tavasolli’s. Tavasolli’s offers one of the best bottomless brunches in Leeds so it’s unsurprising that the one at Gyros Bros is regularly recommended by locals.
This bottomless brunch in Wakefield costs £30 per person and you get one of their delicious gyros wraps with a side of fries plus 90 minutes of unlimited drinks. Available fillings include chicken, pork, halloumi and falafel plus a selection of sauces such as sriracha and tzatziki. For an extra £5.50, you can add a side of halloumi fries. If you’d rather eat something a little less carb-heavy then you can request a salad version instead.

The main, and most popular, Bottomless brunch at Mex Bar is available every Friday and Saturday from 2:30 pm until 9:30 pm. Priced at just £29.99 per person for 2 hours of unlimited drinks, this one comes with a side serving of music as Mex Bar’s house DJs entertain diners throughout the day. Food options include pizzas, fish finger sandwiches, chicken strips cheesy chips, onion rings and more. The drinks options are really good with this one; beers, bottles of VK, spirits with mixers, prosecco and a range of cocktails are all included to get you in the party mood.
On Thursdays and Fridays, Mex Bar hosts their newly introduced Tex Mex bottomless brunch. Again, two hours of booze for £29.99 but with burgers and wraps on the menu instead. This is by far one of the most booked bottomless brunches in Wakefield so do book ahead if you can.
The Pizza Yard

Open Wednesday to Sunday, The Pizza Yard is a new addition to Wakefield’s eating and drinking scene. It opened just a few weeks ago and has already received numerous glowing reviews. This friendly new eatery boasts rustic, Meditteranean-inspired interiors and menus of mouthwateringly good Neapolitan pizzas. The Pizza Yard hosted its very first bottomless brunches on Saturday 18th March and they look set to stay. The food menu isn’t the most extensive but you get two courses rather than the usual one and the pizzas look utterly delicious.
Bottomless brunch at The Pizza Yard costs £35 per person and you can choose from three starters and three different pizzas. We love a pizza-based bottomless brunch and this one comes with a great variety of drinks including Poretti beer, prosecco, wine, gin, Aperol spritz and Woo Woo cocktails. Well, have the Arancini, the Margherita and a few glasses of red, please!
Costa Nostra

Costa Nostra is another social hotspot in Wakefield offering bottomless brunches every weekend, with local DJs keeping the party vibes going throughout. You’ll pay £39.95 per person for bottomless brunch at Costa Nostra but for this, you get an incredible three hours of free-flowing booze. I’ve been researching and reviewing bottomless brunches for some time now and rarely come across 3-hour offerings.
Saturday party brunches are available from 1 pm to 4 pm and from 6 pm until 9 pm so both day drinkers and nighttime partygoers are able to take advantage of this excellent deal. On Fridays and Sundays, bottomless brunches are available between 6 pm and 9 pm only. They keep it simple with the food by offering dishes that are best suited to the party atmosphere. Brunchers can get pizzas, garlic bread, tapas dishes and cheese boards to nibble on throughout their slot which should help soak up the unlimited prosecco, gin, vodka, beer and cocktails.
The Counting House

The Counting House on Westgate is yet another lively drinking venue with house DJs, regular live entertainment and a great cocktail menu. However, The Counting House also boasts a brilliant in-house eatery serving up tasty comfort food and meaty treats like kebabs, pulled pork, slow-cooked brisket, parmos, burgers and more.
The Counting House hosts two 90-minute bottomless brunch sessions each Saturday. Book at 1 pm and enjoy sharing platters plus 90 minutes of bottomless booze for £25 per person. Those seeking a party brunch can book a slot for their 3 pm session which costs slightly higher at £40 per person but is hosted by their resident DJ.
Each table receives a sharing platter piled high with party food pleasers such as Southern Fried Chicken Strips, Mac n Cheese Bites, Jerk Chicken, Jalapeno Poppers, Garlic Mushrooms and Cheesy Nachos. Belluccis is a sophisticated all-day dining restaurant in Wakefield serving fine Italian cuisine. Bottomless brunch at Bellucis is a more refined affair than the party-themed offerings above. The focus is very much on providing diners with quality food in a stylish and contemporary restaurant setting. This bottomless brunch in Wakefield is only available on Saturdays and all those at the booked table must participate. It’s priced at £30 per person, which we think is excellent value considering you get both a main and a dessert in addition to 90 minutes of free-flowing booze.
It isn’t the most extensive bottomless brunch menu we have seen but it’s reasonably well thought out. Steak & Eggs, Chicken Wings, Greek Salad and Deviled Chicken Livers are the main courses on offer and you can follow your chosen dish with either cheesecake or gelato. Drink options include Peroni, Slingsby Rhubarb Gin, Gordon’s Pink Gin, prosecco plus Margarita and Cosmopolitan cocktails. For an additional £6 you can upgrade to include Pornstar Martinis, Strawberry Daquiris and flavoured vodkas to your options.
