Blackhouse has announced plans to evolve its city centre restaurant in 2026 as it approaches its eighteenth year in Leeds. The team aims to build on what has made the venue a long-standing favourite while introducing a new approach to its food, drink and social spaces.
The restaurant will continue to serve the steaks it is known for, sourced from the UK and abroad, but the kitchen will widen its scope with a menu shaped by local produce and the seasons. Dishes will change every six to eight weeks, and new sharing plates will encourage a more relaxed and social dining experience.
The bar, already a popular meeting spot, will also develop its offer. Guests will enjoy more wines by the glass, thanks to Coravin technology, a broader selection of draft beers, and a curated list of affordable cocktails. A new all-day bar menu will run from midday until close, featuring a signature branded burger. Weekend DJs will enhance the atmosphere without altering the venue’s familiar, laid-back ambience.
Blackhouse will continue to offer two private hire spaces, The Conservatory and The Nook, which cater for celebrations, corporate gatherings and intimate dining.
