Hotel Victoria in Robin Hood’s Bay has unveiled its exclusive Christmas packages, offering guests the chance to celebrate the festive season against stunning sea views in a relaxed, welcoming setting. The hotel promises a combination of festive feasts, seasonal events, and overnight stays to create memorable experiences for families, friends, and couples.
From 1st to 24th December, the hotel’s kitchen team will serve a festive-inspired afternoon tea, featuring sweet and savoury treats. Guests can enjoy handcrafted sandwiches such as a turkey bagel with rhubarb crumble and sausage meat stuffing, as well as desserts including fruit cake with Lillibet blue cheese and truffled honey.
A festive two- or three-course menu will also run during lunchtime and evening service over the same period, available in the elegant sea view restaurant, Osbornes, or the cosy traditional Loxley Pub. The menu includes classics like prawn cocktail and roast turkey alongside more creative dishes such as pan-seared salmon with roasted red pepper and sweetcorn chowder, crispy hens egg with winter spiced onion marmalade, and citrus posset with mulled cherries and spiced Chantilly.
The hotel will host its first wreath-making workshop on Friday 28th November, from 11am to 1pm. Local artist and crafter Sadie Hepburn will guide participants in creating personalised decorative centrepieces, while guests enjoy mulled wine and handmade mince pies.
Overnight festive packages cover Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. Highlights include home-baked cream teas, carols by local classical singer James, a Bucks Fizz breakfast, five-course Christmas lunch, evening buffets, and live entertainment from Sax Man Tim Thackray.
New Year’s Eve celebrations include a Champagne reception with canapés, a traditional Scottish Piper welcome, a six-course gala dinner, and live music from Ross McWhirter, finishing with a midnight tasting of haggis, neeps, and tatties. New Year’s Day will feature a Yorkshire-themed buffet with relaxing live music.
