A popular dining brand from Dubai and India is opening its first UK restaurant in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, this month. India Bistro promises a vibrant experience with authentic Indian dishes, bold cocktails, and a modern twist on traditional cuisine.
The restaurant offers a casual yet refined dining experience that celebrates the richness of Indian food and culture. From the bustling streets of Delhi and Punjab to the royal kitchens of Awadh, India Bistro highlights iconic regional dishes crafted by skilled chefs using fresh ingredients and contemporary flair.
Leeds diners can expect a specially curated all-day menu featuring aromatic kebabs such as Gosht Seekh Kebab, tandoori chicken, Champaran mutton, and mango prawn curry. These will be paired with sides including Papad Parivar, Dal Tadka, and freshly baked breads like truffle and cheese kulcha, Laccha paratha, and tandoori roti.
Vegetarian dishes include Paneer Tikka Biryani, Sakarkand ki chaat, and salads infused with regional spices. The menu also draws inspiration from street food and lesser-known regional delicacies.
The restaurant will seat 120 guests in an elegant, contemporary space designed to showcase India Bistro’s bold flavours, meticulous presentation, and state-of-the-art culinary techniques. The bar offers cocktails inspired by the flavours of Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Goa, alongside craft beers and premium spirits.
India Bistro’s UK launch is a partnership between hospitality investment specialist AVT Capital and Foodlink Global Restaurants. Navin Chauhan, President of Restaurants at Foodlink, leads the UK rollout. Chauhan said: “India Bistro represents the next chapter of modern Indian cuisine, inspired by India’s regional heritage, elevated with bold ideas, and brought together through a spirit of hospitality that feels both timeless and fresh.”
The interior design complements the menu with warm tones, soft lighting, and plush seating, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everything from intimate meals to lively gatherings.

Building and fit-out works are underway, with the restaurant expected to open in time for the festive season.
