Enjoy A Taste Of Spring With The New Secret Garden Menus At The Ivy

If you are ready to shake off the winter chill and embrace those first few brighter mornings, The Ivy Collection is pulling out all the stops this season. They are transforming their restaurants, terraces, and famous gardens across the UK into a “Secret Garden” experience, specifically designed to celebrate that hit of energy we all get when the days start getting longer, and the first signs of green reappear.

Every single menu across the collection is getting a major seasonal glow-up. Whether you are headed in for a quick breakfast, a long weekend brunch, or a fancy dinner, you’ll notice a shift toward lighter touches and much more vibrant, produce-led dishes that champion the best of the British springtime.

The big news for anyone looking for a bit of luxury without the eye-watering price tag is the new Taste of Spring set menu. It’s a curated selection of the season’s best bits, priced at £27.95 for two courses or £32.95 if you fancy all three. If you’re just after a mid-week treat, their popular £19.17 menu, a nod to the year The Ivy first opened, is also being refreshed with these new spring flavours.

So, what’s actually on the plate? The chefs have gone for a mix of seasonal staples and a fair bit of table-side drama. For starters, there’s a Whiskey Barrel Wood Smoked Salmon that is revealed at your table for a bit of theatre, or some delicate Roast Queen Scallops served with a crisp potato rösti and truffled crushed peas.

For the main event, the menu travels from the fragrant warmth of a Monkfish and Prawn Keralan Curry to a very indulgent Lobster and Truffle Risotto. If you’re looking for something that feels like spring on a plate, the Asparagus, Courgette, and Broad Bean Linguine in a delicate plant-based white wine sauce is a great shout.

Mark Askew, Group Executive Chef at The Ivy Collection, is clearly excited about the change in season, saying:

“Spring is such an energising time in our kitchens. As the days grow longer and the first seasonal produce begins to shine, there’s a real sense of optimism that naturally finds its way onto the plate. For our new spring menus at The Ivy Collection, we wanted to celebrate that feeling – lightness, colour and vibrancy – while still delivering the depth of flavour and theatre our guests expect from us. From beautifully fresh seafood and bright, herb-led dishes to indulgent touches like truffle and honey, each plate is designed to reflect the sounds, scents and tastes of the season. It’s about creating dishes that feel uplifting and joyful – perfect for enjoying in our gardens and terraces as everything around us comes back into bloom.”

You’ll definitely want to save room for pudding, too. The Black Bee Honey and White Chocolate Cheesecake comes decorated with edible flowers and honeycomb, or you can go for a bit of nostalgia with the Rhubarb and Raspberry Knickerbocker Glory.
