Fat Hippo has announced a playful new collaboration with Paramount Pictures UK to celebrate the release of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, which lands in cinemas on 20 December.
From Friday 26 December, Fat Hippo restaurants across the UK will be serving a limited-edition SpongeBob-inspired menu, packed with bold flavours and nods to Bikini Bottom. The special line-up includes The Lost Burger of the Underworld, complete with a tribute to SpongeBob’s iconic pineapple home.
Other themed additions include Treasure Fries, The Captain’s Clucker and the Deep Sea Double. Each dish is served in bespoke SpongeBob SquarePants packaging, with bright yellow buns adding to the undersea fun. The menu will be available nationwide until 31 January.
For the first time, SpongeBob’s Patty Shack will also be available on Deliveroo from 26 December, giving fans the chance to enjoy the exclusive menu from home.

Founded in Newcastle in 2010, Fat Hippo has grown into a much-loved independent burger group known for quality ingredients, quirky flavours and generous portions. Its menu features signature beef and buttermilk chicken burgers with free sides, alongside allergen-friendly options and a great-value kids’ menu.
The collaboration launches just days after SpongeBob’s latest big-screen adventure arrives in cinemas. The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants sees SpongeBob set out on a deep-sea journey to prove his bravery, following the Flying Dutchman on a swashbuckling underwater adventure.
The limited-edition SpongeBob menu is available in all Fat Hippo locations from 26th December until 31st January.
