Beer lovers, music fans, and foodies—get ready! Henshaws Beer Festival returns this May bank holiday, promising a weekend filled with top-quality drinks, live music, and a buzzing festival atmosphere in Knaresborough.
Taking place at the Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre from the 3rd to the 4th of May, the event will showcase a mix of craft beers, ciders, artisan gins, and fine wines, alongside sizzling BBQ dishes and wood-fired pizzas. The festival offers two family-friendly daytime sessions and an adult-only Saturday night party, with plenty of seating and undercover areas to enjoy the event, whatever the weather.
Henshaws Beer Fest isn’t just about great drinks—it raises funds for Henshaws, a charity supporting people with sight loss and disabilities across the North of England. Fundraising Development Manager Flora Simpson said, “This is our fifth year running the event and each year seems to get better and better. That’s all thanks to the amazing community who help to make the event so special. We love being in Knaresborough and everyone is so friendly and wanting to get involved and support local charities. It’s always such a great buzz at the festival, with everyone just there to have a good time.”

Music is a major part of the festival, with Henshaws ambassador and DJ Rory Hoy bringing party vibes and BBC Introducing’s Leo Hicks performing an acoustic set. The festival is also set to be bigger than ever thanks to support from title sponsor Servoca Health, which provides care staff for Henshaws College. Servoca Branch Manager Jack Watson said, “We’re thrilled to be the title sponsor, supporting an event that brings people together whilst raising vital funds for such an incredible charity. Henshaws makes a real difference in the lives of those with visual impairments and disabilities, and we’re proud to play a part in their mission.”
The event is made possible by dedicated volunteers. Heather Pearman, who helped out last year, said, “It was my first time volunteering at Henshaws Beer Fest in 2023, and I can’t wait to do it again. The team is amazing and so welcoming, like one big family. If you’re thinking about volunteering, do it. I felt such a sense of pride being part of something so special.”
Tickets are available now via the Henshaws website, with each adult ticket including a limited-edition souvenir pint glass and two drink tokens. Don’t miss out on this fantastic event in support of a great cause.
