Mexican restaurant Las Iguanas is launching a month-long celebration of the Margarita cocktail at its Leeds sites this March. The “Marg Month” initiative runs throughout March 2026 and features a line-up of new and classic flavours. To mark the occasion, the restaurant is offering a free Margarita worth £10.95 to anyone born in March. To claim the drink, guests must sign up via the Las Iguanas website to receive a code and present a valid ID in the restaurant on Tuesday 24th March.
The menu includes limited-edition cocktails such as the Bahian, which features warming spices and toasted coconut, and the Hot Honey Mango, made with chilli and hot honey. For those seeking a non-alcoholic option, the restaurant has introduced the “Margarit-eh” using organic bitters and lime. These drinks pair with the existing food menu, which includes Tapas Bundles and a daily Bottomless Brunch. The restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and flexitarian dishes alongside its traditional meat options.
The festival aims to bring the energy of Latin America to the city through its signature music and vibrant décor. Las Iguanas has been a staple of the UK dining scene since 1991, focusing on authentic flavours and a lively atmosphere.
Las Iguanas Marketing Director Tom Patrick said: “At Las Iguanas, we love any excuse to celebrate the hugely popular Margarita, so Marg Month is the perfect opportunity to do this. It’s bold, bright and brings the fiesta wherever it goes, just like our restaurants.”
He commented: “Whether you’re a classic lime fan or prefer a fruity twist, there’s a Margarita for everyone. And treating March birthdays to a free one felt like the perfect way to say Salud!”
