Leeds is set to welcome a taste of Sardinia with the opening of Domo, the award-winning restaurant that has been delighting diners in Sheffield since 2019. Co-owners Sarah Elliott-Busceddu and Raffaele Busceddu are bringing their love of traditional Sardinian cuisine to Tower Works, creating a 2,841 sq ft canal-side space for around 95 guests, plus outdoor seating for 25.
Domo Leeds promises rustic, authentic flavours, showcasing dishes rarely seen outside the island, all made entirely in-house. In addition to the main menu, the restaurant will offer a daily lunch menu with takeaway options and weekend breakfasts, positioning itself as an all-day destination for South Bank locals and visitors.
Sarah Elliott-Busceddu said: “Opening our second restaurant feels incredibly special. Domo started as a shared dream, built from years of hard work and a deep love for Sardinian food culture, and to be bringing that passion to Leeds is a huge milestone for us. We’re so excited to join the incredible indie food scene here and become part of the local community.”
The interiors, designed with 93 Ft, highlight Sardinian craftsmanship with hand-woven baskets, carved Mamoiada masks, artwork by local artists, and a bold mural celebrating the island’s culture. Guests can enjoy the open kitchen, bespoke tables with authentic tiles, and a striking circular cocktail bar overlooking the canal.
Domo Leeds is expected to open in Spring 2026, offering the city a fresh, authentic taste of Sardinia.
