Y’all ready for this? Popeyes® UK has officially announced that it will be landing in Sheffield’s Meadowhall Shopping Centre with the Chicken Sandwich that ‘broke the internet’ later this year.
Popeyes UK® launched its first UK Drive-Thru, and first Yorkshire restaurant in Rotherham in May, and consequently set the record for the brand’s busiest launch globally. The all-new restaurant will be situated within Meadowhall Shopping Centre, and will be the chain’s 16th opening in 2023, and 33rd opening since landing in the UK in November 2021.
Chicken fans in Sheffield will be able to experience Popeyes® world-famous shatter crunch for themselves once they get their hands on the mouth-watering menu. Popeyes® brings a taste of New Orleans to the UK, with its signature 12-hour marinated chicken, plus original Southern biscuits and gravy.
What’s more, Popeyes® will also be serving its brand-new breakfast menu, including the Big Breakfast Roll (a sausage patty, egg, streaky bacon, and American cheese in a soft bun), a variety of sausage, bacon, egg and cheese muffins, cajun hash browns, and its famous Louisiana buttermilk biscuits served with cinnamon sugar or Nutella®.
As is Popeyes® UK tradition, the new venue is set to pull out all the stops to showcase its Southern hospitality as it brings a taste of New Orleans to shoppers at Meadowhall. More giveaways will be announced closer to the launch of the new Meadowhall restaurant, and those who sign up will be the first in the know.

The new Sheffield restaurant will be located within Meadowhall Shopping Centre at the food court and will seat up to 80 people for those dining in, with takeaway also available.
