Crowds turned out in Leeds this week as Brazilian rodizio restaurant Estábulo gave away 100 flat iron steaks in a one-day preview of its new £9.99 lunch menu.
Between 12pm and 2pm, diners enjoyed steaks cooked over an open flame, served alongside sides and sauces. All 100 free meals were claimed on a first-come, first-served basis, with queues forming well before opening.
Known for its rodizio-style service and meats carved at the table, Estábulo is launching the lunch menu on Monday 18th August. The £9.99 deal includes a full flat iron steak, traditional Brazilian cheese bread Pão de Queijo, and churros for dessert.
To mark launch week, the first 20 people to order the steak between 12pm and 2pm from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd August will get it free.
Sophie Blackburn, Operations Manager at Estábulo, said: “Seeing so many eager diners queue outside the doors of our restaurants to get a sneak peek of our new lunch menu perfectly captures the spirit of Estábulo: great food, warm hospitality, and a real sense of community. We can’t wait for everyone to try the full menu when it launches and enjoy the flavours of Brazil in a fresh, accessible way at lunchtime.”
